We use the same box we sell.
MINEOMAT didn’t start in a conference room. Philip built the first controller in summer 2025 for our own roof in Burgenland, Austria – and it’s still running there while you read this.

It started on our own roof.
In 2024 we moved into our house and put 6 kWp on the roof. In 2025 the first miner arrived – and every midday there was power flowing into the grid because nobody else needed it. In summer 2025 Philip set out to change that: a controller that knows the solar output, the battery and the household consumption, and adjusts the miner accordingly. Over the network, not via a plug.
That became the MINEOMATBOX. Philip still writes the software himself. Our system is the starting point, not the limit: water-cooled miners that heat hot water, ten miners without a battery, flexible electricity tariffs – setups like these run at our customers’ homes, not ours. With every system in the field, the box has learned something new.
Nicole handles marketing and the paperwork – accounting, quotes, the shop. There are two of us. If you write to us, you get an answer from us, not from a ticket system.

What guides us
Four principles we want to be measured by.
Honest numbers.
We show what the box measures – not what would look good. If a system has a bad month, you’ll see the bad month too.
No earnings promises.
We don’t promise anyone a profit. What a miner brings on your roof depends on your system, your consumption and your electricity price. You know those better than we do.
Local, not cloud.
The box runs on Home Assistant in your own network. No cloud requirement, no subscription, no data travelling to us. Even if we were gone tomorrow, it would keep running.
You decide, the box does it.
Mining mode, battery strategy, thresholds – those are your settings. When the spot price is high, the box pauses mining and exports to the grid. Surplus doesn’t automatically become Bitcoin – it’s used according to your rules.
Our test system
The workshop is in the garage.
Battery, inverter and miners sit in our garage – a modern Avalon Q next to an old S9, deliberately mixed. The 6 kWp we started with have grown to 10 – since April 2026 the conservatory roof contributes too. No lab setup, no showroom.
