The story behind it
From trade-fair builder to Bitcoin farmer.
During the pandemic, Angelo Franke went from building trade-fair stands to farming Bitcoin. His project: the Green Bitcoin Farm. The idea: produce solar power on a farm on Tenerife, use it to run Bitcoin miners, and use the waste heat for drying processes in agriculture – moringa, spirulina, avocados, all on one site.
A MINEOMATBOX HOME runs on his farm. The box controls an Avalon Q and a Nano 3S according to the output of a 2.4 kWp off-grid system with a Sunsynk inverter and a 5 kWh battery. A compact setup, but exactly right for getting started off-grid.
Angelo is MINEOMAT’s first affiliate partner. Through his reach in the Bitcoin community – YouTube, Instagram, podcast – he reaches solar owners who are looking for exactly this: smart control for their surplus.

Controls up to eight miners based on your solar surplus – with battery strategy, price thresholds and weather forecast. It runs locally in your home on Home Assistant, with no cloud and no subscription. If, contrary to expectations, the connection to your inverter doesn’t work, you can send it back.
